Jamie Colby

Colby is an anchor, National News Correspondent, and anchor in Fox News. He has been employed by the company since July of 2003. Colby has worked as anchor and reporter for CBS News and was also a fill-in reporter for CBS Up to the Minute. Also, she was a CNN correspondent. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is admitted to practice law to practice law in New York City, California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. Colby has been awarded such awards like the Edward R. Murrow National Award in 2002, for her reporting on the September 11 terrorist attacks; Gracie Award for investigative reporting in 2000; and she was awarded the Clarion Award from the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week named her "Rising News Actor to Follow". Colby worked as an attorney and, in addition to her career as a journalist for 10 years in private practice. Colby began her legal career by working with an Hollywood entertainment company that brought her on The Tonight Show. In her early 20s, Colby began her career as a reporter as well as host of Johnny Carson, both during the renewal of his contract with NBC together with him, as well as his divorce. Since January 15, Colby has served as host and reporter on The Fox Business show, Strange Inheritance.
