Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress from America. Her most well-known character is Skyler White on her role on the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in Drama Series. Other characters include Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in The Preparatory School before moving with the family there to Ohio. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna began her journey in Chicago-area theatres for several years. Her next move was to TV and film. In 1992 Anna got her first major part as Arden in 29 episodes from Down the Shore. She continued to appear as an actor in few TV shows and films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue till the latter part of the 1990's when she appeared in a role that she reprised in The Practice as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood over two complete seasons. In 2008, she was a part in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood were also part of her professional career.
